Wiltshire Staffordshire Bull Terrier Rescue has moved
IMPORTANT MESSAGE
We are a small rescue that does our best to make a difference to the health and welfare of the Staffordshire Bull Terrier Breedd. We never accept Bull Terrier Crosses or animals we consider to be 'Pit-Bull' types into the rescue.
WE NEVER ACCEPT ANY DOG INTO THE RESCUE WITHOUT PRIOR AGREEMENT IN WRITING. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE PRIOR WRITTEN AGREEMENT DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG TO THIS RESCUE IT WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED!.
Since Christmas, and again today 26/02/2010, there have been attempts by people to dump a variety of Bull Breed crosses including Pit-Bull Terriers by tying them to our house railings or leaving them in to run loose on the farm.
We keep livestock on the farm and this behaviour is CRIMINAL, DANGEROUS AND DISGRACEFUL!
Be advised that as a result or recent events we have now had live-stream surveilance cameras fitted our kennels and at several other strategic locations about the farm. This is to protect the Staffords in our care and identify any persons involved in animal cruelty and criminal activity, i.e. dumping dogs!
ANYONE found attempting to 'dump a dog' will be reported to the Police and the RSPCA and I will personally ensure that evidence will be provided to the appropriate authorities to ensure that these individuals are prosecuted to the fullest extent that the law allows.
